Do this and start gaining greater control over yourself
Apr 17, 2023Gaining greater control over yourself means having control over your emotions in a non-confrontational way. It all comes down to self-esteem. It is all about the SELF. Not in a selfish way. Far from it. Everything has a dark side and everything has a fine line between the two worlds. Even intuition can have a dark side. The ego can be very clever. Clever is not the same as intelligent. The ego can disguise as the angelic intuitive voice when in fact, it is the opposite. It is the words you speak. Negative words carry a negative vibration and with this, negative outcomes. By raising your vibration, you attract better things into your life that make you happy and far more resilient. No more fighting and struggling. Your inner world will open up like a lotus flower. Will it all happen within a day or two? I am afraid not. It requires a change of identity. Whatever you want to achieve, you need to become this person first. It is not when you have it, you become that person. If you do, your identity is hampered by your job or status and this can lead to disasterous outcomes in the long run. Life is a marathon and not a sprint. Make sure you are thoughtful where you spend your energy and what you focus on.
Here are some tips on how achieve self-esteem that you have already but it got clouded over the years. It was a journey as well. Now, you can start a new journey. Let's begin.
-
Keep a gratitude journal: Every day, write down three things that you are grateful for. This exercise can help you focus on the positive aspects of your life, which can help boost your self-esteem.
-
Create a self-love playlist: Make a playlist of songs that make you feel good about yourself. Listen to it whenever you need a little pick-me-up.
-
Practice positive affirmations: Repeat positive affirmations to yourself every day. For example, say things like "I am worthy," "I am capable," and "I am loved."
-
Celebrate your accomplishments: Make a list of all the things you've accomplished, big and small, and celebrate them. Whether it's treating yourself to a nice meal or taking a day off to relax, give yourself credit for your achievements.
-
Surround yourself with positive people: Spend time with people who uplift and support you. Avoid negative, toxic people who bring you down.
-

- Explore your unconscious programming that leads to your own sabotage
- Write down your goals. Make sure you set your goals at a right level. In my course StressLess you can learn how to set goals that set you up to succeeed. Most people set themselves high goals and they cannot be achieved and therefore, the self-sabotage as in form of procrastination kicks in. Procrastination is not the problem. The problem is that goals are not set appropriately.
- Let go of what makes you unhappy. Eliminate the stresses in your life.
Remember, building self-esteem takes time and effort, but it is worth it. Be kind to yourself, and remember that you are worthy and deserving of love and respect.
