Missing self-esteem can lead to self-destructive behaviours or actions.
This is the self-sabotage. The saboteur causes havoc and what you have built gets destroyed.
Many marriages fail. Many fail due to self-sabotaging actions.
All these programmes are run on an unconscious level.
High risk behaviours or actions are part of low self-esteem. This is the fight response and it has a purpose.
Eating disorders, addictive behaviours, stress and stress can become an addiction (always drama in your life coming out of nowhere? There is a clue.) and this is due to a dysregulated nervous system.
The imposter syndrome is very real and yet, it is only there because deep inside you feel you are faking it. The ego becomes stronger and stronger, wanting more and more. Like a dopamine hit.
The imposter syndrome is big in the corporate world. What if people find out what you really think of yourself? The ego protects without a doubt but the person also needs to keep that persona as a reality and this is hard work. This can lead to burnout. It’s not the job, it’s your inner world that causes the stress.
When it comes to debt, people who earn more are in greater debt compared to people who earn less. Why is that?
What personality type are high achievers?
They are The Achiever.
They receive external validation as this feeds their self-worth. Their identity is attached to their achievements.
What would happen if all achievements disappear?
This causes fear. Childhood trauma shapes high achievers. High achievers fall into the trap of procrastination because of their high expectations.
Perfectionists are high achievers and this often comes at a high cost. Stress. Worries cause stress.
Healthy self-esteem is needed because when you have healthy self-esteem, you are in a state of inner balance and this means you can be the high achiever naturally without any force or fight.
The inner conflict is over and you can charge forward with certainty and lead yourself and others to the best places.
It requires being honest with yourself.
What can you do about it? By making an appointment with me and finding out where you are in your life and what can be done to upgrade you to a happier and more fulfilled life. A life that is less stress.
